I grew up watching television shows such as Bewitched, and I remember thinking about how cool it would be to be able to do all the things that Samantha, Uncle Arthur, and Endora could do with a wave of their hand. When I saw the magic set in the catalog, I thought I knew what being a magician was all about, and I knew I wanted to be one. I was very eager to get that magic wand so that I could start doing magic like the folks on television.
